Staff at our Peabody/Lynnfield practice – 29 of them, to be exact – took on the Ice Bucket Challenge started by Peter Frates, former Boston College baseball player, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2012. The Ice Bucket Challenge has been sweeping the nation and almost every department of the Peabody/Lynnfield practice had a representative who poured a bucket of ice water on their heads to raise awareness of this devastating disease.
And in true ALS Ice Bucket Challenge protocol, Dr. James Brown, Chief Medical Director at Peabody/Lynnfield, has challenged Katie Loomer, one of our clinical pharmacists, as well as the Beverly practice of Harvard Vanguard and any other Harvard Vanguard practice ready to take the challenge!
